Latha Venkatesan is an accomplished artist who specializes in Tanjore paintings. A multifaceted individual, she also has a passion for writing, singing, and fine arts.

Some years back, while living in Muscat, she embraced painting more seriously, starting with oils and exploring various mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal. Over time, she developed a deep interest in Tanjore paintings and has created numerous intricate works in this traditional art form.

Latha was born in Pune, India, and graduated from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce in New Delhi and began her career as a banking professional, earning the CAIIB qualification before moving overseas. Her marriage to Venkatesan, a foreign trade & investment promotion professional, took her to over fifty countries, while based out of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, and later Doha, Qatar. She now resides in Chennai, India.
Latha comes from a close-knit family with three siblings, a son who is a software engineer and a daughter who is a banker and also a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer.
